FALLEN

Lust is an orgasm.

It heightens & falls

like the member of a casanova

At first, curvatures propel hormonal binges.

But after the deed is done;

Charade loses its elasticity

& forever after becomes sterile.

FALL

They have pierced

the testament of grace

with the spear of hypocrisy.

Spilled its blood on the balm of Gilead.

They have even raped the covenant of old

with jibes coated with modernism.

yet they still dance to psalms of cherubs

edifying true souls that seek divinity
