Forget My Limp

As you friendship my shoulder

and take the message

I bring from the Afterlands.

You are never really alone!

Sometimes your thinking

becomes boxed and blinkered.

But it is only temporary,

a cycle change, Fall to Spring.

Forever’s an illusion, a sentiment,

a poetic expression for love only.

There are Beacons scattered

along your unique pathway,

you will know them when it’s time.

Sense more. Feel…. differently.

Evade both the hunter and the hunted.

Whittle your thoughts, daily.

Feel the magic in preparation.

Complete, Yourself!

Unpleasant emotion

is to be channelled out not kept in.

Embarrassment, fear and failure

are only there to trick you.

Unconnect sometimes, disengage often.

Never Mind Yesterday… Now Is The Time To Be Wise

We are all scarred up,

squirming bloody in salt

and crucified by the past.

To ‘Dwell’ is to ‘Live’

but don’t be doing that back there.

You’re breathing,

you can get from A to B

and the false ones

have finally

let their masks slip.

This is good,

stings a bit

but that just means

that the healing’s begun already.

They’ve given you back power,

they can fool you no more.

Accept this, don’t black it out,

absorb and learn.

Wisdom’s hard earned

but with it comes strength,

character and deep understanding.
