The Range Of Personalities Go All The Way From A To Z

I think the range of personalities go all the way from A to Z

with light at one end and dark at the other.

So we are born with a natural, individual preposition but that is just the canvas.

Our Environment and all the many factors therein paint the actual painting as we go along…

And all is changeable because environment can always be changed for the better or worse.

It comes down finally to the shade of our personality and the choices we make

after traversing upheaval, disorder and ordeal.

That’s The Worst I’ve Seen You Yet

You’ve got to get over this somehow.

Do whatever it takes

to stand back up on your feet again.

You are not an embarrassment,

weakness isn’t permanent,

it’s just the other side of strength.

Turn that coin around

and start focusing upon the bright side.

We all fall… getting back up

is the only thing that counts or matters.

Thinking negatively is just chaining you

to that unnecessary merry-go-round

… it’s time to get off the ride now.

Reclaim your life back from the darkness.

You are not a victim you are a survivor.

You’ll wobble a little at first

but I am proud of you already.

Baby steps and small potatoes,

… over here look…welcome back

into the sunshine, I’ve really missed you.

Paul Tristram is a Welsh writer who has poems, short stories, sketches and photography published in many publications around the world. He yearns to tattoo porcelain bridesmaids instead of digging empty graves for innocence at midnight; this too may pass, yet.

You can also read his poems and stories here.
