Seeds of Doubt

I am the spider

weaving the web

of hypocrisy made

by your moral absolution

Little do you know

that you are caught

in the fragments of

glass from the shattered

Mirror that you discarded

into the refuse pile

outside of your home

I am the jet black

juggernaut of crippling

guilt that you hide behind

a smile of pearls

Little do you know that

I scratch and gnaw at

your psyche with every

breath you take

I am the picture

of your ex that you burned

wildly while dancing in the

flames of cruelty

Little do you know

that rebirth is inevitable,

and the hourglass is almost

empty

My time is now.

Death and Rebirth

Torn from the wreckage

of a life filled with turmoil

While mourning in the

bleak December rains about

Mistakes in the face of

Tribulation, rendering scars

That would make anyone

tear up at the mere sight.

When roses of hope bloom,

we will see the true face of freedom

Scream its fire into the hearts

of humankind, unrelenting in

Its sincerity to carve new paths

upon the psyche of the human condition

Which listens to whispers of a new beginning

pounding upon the ear drums of inevitability
