Hopefully this heading has caught your attention, mostly, no doubt, by its contradiction in terms many would say.

Both The Bible and Philosophy have references to a similar term, albeit not necessarily associated, in terms of history, with the career of politicians as we know it, or think we know it (reference news feature Monday 22nd August 2016 of approved tacit drug testing on unruly teenagers within some approved schools – as referred to BBC Radio 4 ‘Today’ Programme)!

Labour’s choice of Leader could most likely be a landslide victory for Mr Corbyn, whom his followers acclaim as being a ‘Good Man’. But is that enough to win the Leadership of his Party when many of his Colleagues will not accept Ministerial Positions if offered the same, no matter how attractive the role, and is being ‘A Good Man’ also enough to win a General Election if he gets that far along the systemic line to stand as the next potential Prime Minister when a large sway of voters would not vote for him because he will not press the nuclear button if required.

This is the paradoxical dichotomy when being Good is just not Good enough for some!
