My Father, Sweets and Beatle Shops

I recall my moments with you

Those days erstwhile

In memories those recoil

And emotions my boil

All while through

As I miss you.

When you led me holding my tiny hand

We walked in a tight band

On the way back home

From your market land

That you used to visit almost everyday

That was your way

Seeing guys and passing time

And I was also not away

from your life of everyday.

And I sometimes did also go

In your company though

With concealed intent

With my latent bend

To your graceful hold; and my tweets

To ask me buy some sweets.

I remember a market you took me to

Used to be crowded and into

The beatle shops stood amid

Standing in shades vivid.

Oh how we managed to do this job!

Pierced through the human mob

And reached the stall tip tops

The chewing beatle shops!

Father you have done great for me

By molding my conscience degree

Those still guide me through

Life and life spree,

And get myself from pains free.

I know these pains are too futile

And happiness is worthwhile

But may turn prompt in vain

So every moment should I, entertain

And from anxieties refrain!

Vivid and true...nostalgia grants some relief.
