Let Us Walk Moon By Moon

Let us walk moon by moon,

and close this road by noon.

Let there be spoon for boom,

and some boomerang of brooms.

Take me by the hand with a song,

a song not too long,

a song of a dying love,

a love not too strong.

Take me by the hand with a song,

and let us walk moon by moon,

To a place where lives no sun,

and there,

May we have our first son.

Take me by the hand with a song,

and sing for me the ladies song,

that my head may spin again,

when I shall hear of thy favourite name.

Take me by the hand with a song,

into the heart of your mother,

Tell her I am her daughter,

Tell her I am your bride.

Let us walk moon by moon,

To the petals of sense,

there may we reason our age,

On the page almost full with the moon.

Oh! Widow Painter

Oh! Widow Painter,

Look upon my Nakedness,

And smile away thy wretched tears.

Take my eyes into yours,

and you shall see thy wife again,

For I am woman.

Taste the waters of my lips,

with a tearless kiss,

and you shall in me again

find your long lost mistress.

What is the price?

What is the price, Oh! Widow painter

for my body to lie in your sheets,

adorned with the paints of your art?

If not that for me,

In Lust, you be mad.

Dear Widow Painter,

Name your price,

and I shall forever be

your bride.

He stuns with the unusual metaphors and that makes the lyrics memorable ...and meaningful.
