High Rollers of America
Don’t get asked
about their umpteen blue coffin-shaped suitcases
and when they want
privacy by golly they’re left all alone
high rollers have enough money
or are comped spacious suites with nooks and crannies
where they can stash a cache of canon-sized guns
capable of machining a thousand yards
high rollers can afford to stave off suspicion
they can buy the assumption of innocence
they can afford absolute ease and freedom and lest we forget
insane hospitality and nobody dares bat an eye
when a high roller requests a food cart
to be left near his room nor his speckled thin hands
wavering over the ghostly cart

Yes ... so peculiar, all that "overlooked" stuff, isn't it?
