Hope & Downcast (A New Beginning)

Armed on a Chair

Depressed

Dispirited

And Dejected

Sitting on the nook

Dark gloomy room

I saw a beaming

From a hole

Bigger than a mole

A ray of lustrous light

Loads of sunlight

Brilliant & Luminous

Shining on its Own

To which

I screamed

Who are you?

It silently said

Hug me

I am anticipation

An expectation

A Trust

Yes, I am Hope!

Reasons Untold (Farmer)

Gazing the skies

With forlorn eyes

Dip tip dip tip

Did it fall

With body half covered

Sleeping on the stone

Taking his plough

For reasons untold

The piercing Sun

Brazen his body

His soul too

Just to feed us

He takes loans

And never moans

Just prays for

Good harvest

That will buy him tools

He works as inhuman

And breaks no rules

Succumbs to pain

Of not fulfilling fields

He burns and turns

And mourns

And finally

I saw him hanging

From the tree cliff
