Never Give Up

Oh yes, it is dark in there,

And one could feel the coldness of the wind

It is taking away everything bit by bit

A feeling of wilderness, bareness and infertility

As If the sun is never going to shine again.

The seeds within hearts could no longer germinate,

The dead flowers could no more come to life

Disappointment, desolation, and bitterness

Alas! How could there be an escape from the lingering pain,

A burden so heavy, that it can’t be lifted,

A void so huge, that it can’t be filled,

Emptiness, hollowness and deterioration,

But, it’s the ultimate fate of the human existence

After all, it’s the pain that keeps the soul alive

Struggle after struggle, holding the ground

We fall and we Rise..

Like a Phoenix rising from the ashes,

Oh yes! We fall and we Rise!
