Second Sex

Ultra modern attire

Ancient thinking.

Overloaded with wearable

Of all kinds

Yet

Seems hollow

In the dungeon

Of the heart.

Only breathing

Can always never

Assure the existence.

The Second Sex

Fewer amongst the lot

blessed with sentiments,

Must keep faith

In the self.

To exist in this concrete jungle

Of throbbing hearts

Certainly are

Not living

But surviving.

Future

The panic of uncertain

Unimaginable and improbable

Is capable of turning one

From the present.

Present,

Collection of moments

Slips swiftly

Unmark

Leaves behind the hazy marks.

The distress of sudden

The horror of losing Self

The question of existence

And an evident change

Are the issues

Fuels the burning.

As the soldier

Battles in mind

Prior of entering the warzone

The process is evident

The universal truth

An immortal destiny

Of the mortal being!
