Cloudiness

I hide

in the silence

of uncertainty of tomorrow,

I am glad,

that today the sky is

above me.

I tell a tale from the clouds,

although I do not know

how it ends.

The wind gives an ending,

until the sky does not open

– I look,

because I see shapes in the sky from down below.

Beautiful are cloudy travels

and cloudiness of the sky

is beautiful.

Inverted Time

What am I doing here?

Am I amusing myself?

I’m looking for youth

among young people.

Mental mirages are like

flights between good and evil.

I listen to stories

about the wonders of the future.

What am I doing here?

Am I taking my time?

I’m looking for old age

among old people.

Life is not a pendulum

and never comes back.

Remains

the motion of memory and oblivion.

And I,

listen to

what is still left –

inverted time.

Parachron

Entwined in a minute seconds

bud into hours

and keep on going.

And we

cuddled in time,

surrounded by the world

sometimes look into the sky

to count the stars

and wait for the sunrise.

Without a watch

one can live.

It is not a parachron*

but it colors a minute

that no longer waits for the cuckoo.

At the end and at the beginning

we are always in time.

  • para- (“protection against”) + chron (“time”)

It Was the Same

There will no longer be home,

smoke from the chimney.

There will be no tomorrow.

Rotten beams

cannot withstand the pressure of time.

In the crooked house

a hunched woman

– waits.

It’s like it used to be,

out there behind the house flows a river.

Only now

the children do not have time to look at old age.

Time took away youth

– like the night takes away the evening.

There is no longer smoke from the chimney,

no chimney,

and there behind the house

still flows a river.
