Truth cannot be tampered

(A Path to Freedom? Journalist Mumia Abu-Jamal Wins a Chance to Re-argue)

Decades of suffocation

Ruthless suppression

And yet bravely stood tall

Black Panther Mumia Abu-Jamal

Wrongly convicted of murder

Forced to surrender

The stern award winning journalist

Didn’t flinch an inch before the Jurist

Chance to re-argue his appeal

Indicates power of truth will prevail

Despite tampered evidence and plot to nail

And win the case against Mumia Abu-Jamal

Bravo! You are exceptional

A hope for victims of injustice… A real

Inspiration to activists big or small

Fighter Mumia Abu-Jamal
