Pretending

I did not see a crying one,

I did not see a sympathetic one.

Never!

I want to believe

that among them

are sons, fathers, brothers.

I want to believe

that at least a few

did not lose the good in themselves.

I once saw

one who did not see me.

I’m kidding.

He just pretended

and went ahead.

He was good

despite being German.

Soap

Who will cry

when I will disappear?

Who will recall the Other

who wanted to live so much?

Maybe they

those who carry out

experiments on people.

Apparently,

they can make soap from them!

I do not believe it.

No soap,

especially

this

– made from a human,

will not cleanse the blood

from their filthy paws!

Bleached

I am paler than the clouds

that flow like a wave

across,

or maybe along

the starlit infinity.

Whiter than them,

I sleep during the day.

At night –

I listen intently to the ominous murmurs.

Like a lace tablecloth on an empty table,

increasingly bleached,

I wait for my own death.
