Hassan Majeshi Msaka

Hassan M. Msaka (Majeshi) is a Tanzanian artist who loves art as art loves him. He enjoys his work, which he describes as being able to “play with colours, and at the end of the day, convey a message”. He seeks to reach out to the world through colour.

Hassan “Majeshi” Msaka is one many artists who are great at what they do. They recognize their gift and are eager to do even more. “My life is art,” Majeshi says. Without it, my life would not be in a good position. I’m living through the art, I bought my house through art. There is no life without art. It has made me want to live. God chose me to be an artist, I cannot deny God’s education. That is why I paint.”
