Hannah Uzor (nee Hasiciimbwe) was privileged to be born in central southernAfrica,Zambia, where she experienced life surrounded by the vibrancy of colour. She uses her paintings to capture and communicate the exuberance of her African heritage, abstracted stick figures highlighting human interaction in motion also. Since moving to theUKin 2003 she has an even stronger passion to capture the cultural practices, traditions, beliefs and experiences of everyday life through art as historical records for the future. Her recent works also include several paintings that are reflective of her recent experiences since moving.
