The crackdown season has started again in Pakistan, this time the target being social media activists. People who use social media to raise their voices on political and other policy matter issues are being asked to present themselves before the Federal Investigation Agency to prove they are not an agent or working against national interest.

Pakistan’s new season of ‘Game Of Thrones’

To understand the dynamics of Pakistani politics, one needs to watch the popular drama series ‘Game of Thrones’. Based on George R R Martin’s series of novels ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ this drama serial focuses on the moves and conspiracies to win power games. I am sure if the writer or director sees Pakistan’s version of ‘Game of Thrones’ they would forget their own drama series.

Panama verdict: Sharif injured but survives to fight the ‘Godfathers’

Finally after a long wait, the verdict of the Panama Papers case in Pakistan has been announced. Five judges gave a lease of life to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif by not disqualifying him on the petition filed by Imran Khan and company.
