UN peacekeeping mandate in DRC renewed but number of troops reduced

On Friday March 31st in New York, the UN Security Council voted on Resolution 2348, recommending that the Congolese peacekeeping force MONUSCO‘s mandate be renewed for another year to prevent the intensification of violence in the DRC.
