Toni Braxton and Babyface’s Zimbabwe show lives up to expectations

American superstars Kenneth ‘Babyface’ Edmonds and Toni Braxton put up a scintillating performance in Harare, Zimbabwe last week in the first leg of their maiden tour of Africa.

Babyface started off the night with a few favourites from his ‘For The Cool In You‘ album, the crowd singing along, sometimes screaming along with his music.

Amazingly enough, he shifted to his hit songs from his catalogue of 1983 ‘Midnight Star’ hits.

This was before he finished off his set with ‘Whip Appeal‘ , that got many putting on their dancing shoes.

After a short break, Toni came on with her sisters. She was in a crazy all white outfit; she did not waste any time. On three ocassion she got members of the audience to join her before getting Babyface back on stage to perform songs from the 2015 Grammy-Award winning album ‘Love Marriage and Divorce‘.

Always the star, Toni did the whole first verse of Notorious B.I.G.’s ‘Big Poppa‘, much to the anticipation of the crowd.

The two have since left for South Africa where they are performing two separate shows to complete their southern African tour.
