In December 2015, Donald Trump called for the “total and complete shutdown” of US borders to Muslims following a shooting in San Bernardino, California. As if banning Muslims wasn’t enough, the tragic terrorist attack on Brussels last Tuesday stemmed a tragic reaction from Donald too.
In a CNN interview he cracked the medieval code of Islam to the American people when he professed that “Islam hate us”, no idea what he meant, Islam is a religion not a TV anchor, besides what the heck is “us”, is it white Americans, Christians, or is it the United States where more than six million Muslims reside?
Donald’s intellectual delinquency didn’t stop there, on Fox News Sunday, refuting host Chris Wallace questioning his outlandish assertion of the so called Islamic terrorism “..you can’t brush the 1.6 billion Muslims of terrorism” Chris said. Donald went on to say that 27% of Muslims have said they would go to war. Not exactly sure what kind of war, or against whom, but in Donald’s mind, and according to The Hill, is sure that those same “Twenty-seven percent are really very militant about going after things”, so Islam hate “us” and 27% of Muslims want to go to war with “things” that only Donald knows.
So in what kind of world does Donald live, and where does he gets these “things”? The self-worshipping Donald who thinks everybody loves him, acting like the chosen son of Jacob’s big family, playing on a stage of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream-hairdo; singing the tone ‘I’m handsome, I’m smart I’m a walking work of Art’.
His infantile personality enables him to say anything and do anything without letting facts stand in his way of telling his own truth. Donald made a name for himself insulting women, Mexicans, blacks and anybody who stands in his way as a form of entertainment.
His latest bizarre claim was about Muslims in England, Donald assured us that Muslims are “absolutely not reporting” suspected terrorists. Let us delve into Donald’s mind and see how it works and how he can be that absolute, shall we!? His claim that Muslims don’t report “suspected terrorists”, where in fact Muslims are the first victims of terrorism around the world, suffering the most of ISIS’ attacks.
According to the Times article titled “Brussels Is Latest Target in Islamic State’s Assault on West”, once you pass the troubling headline, the Times goes on to state that “ The Islamic State has a history of attacking mosques, hotels, busy city streets and other civilian targets in mostly non-Western countries.” The Times atypically don’t think the earlier attacks in Ankara or Istanbul were attacks on the west. The last time I checked Turkey is located in Europe and still a member of NATO, only white folks get this privilege. So why do Muslims not report their “suspected terrorists”?
Before we answer that we need first to know how you identify a “suspected terrorist” absolutely? According to Trevor Aaronson’s book; ‘The Terror Factory: Inside the FBI’s Manufacturing War on Terror’, by building a network of thousands of informants to infiltrate Muslim communities and create a fake terrorist plot to post their image and standing by the ‘war on terrorism’ crusade, which of course results in more funding and bigger budgets from Washington. Which is now official with the US Homeland Security ‘Countering Violent Extremism’ programs, better known as ‘CVE’, putting millions of dollars to- as critics put it- entrap, and spy on the Muslim communities, in Mosques, Schools, and even at home. So if as a good patriotic American Muslim informant, I may be informing on the FBI fake infiltrated terrorists, not the real terrorists.
But this is too logical and complicated for Donald. Donald is a product of our celebrity infantilized culture, espousing white privileges. To him we all are living on his remote island, and he is the only one who can tell us to stay or get fired. Singling out a group of people based on their race, nationality or religion as “suspected terrorists” is not just unconstitutional but it is also counterproductive.
A Gallup poll found that Muslim Americans are the most likely to reject individual violence against civilians which was, according to the survey, in contrast with Americans who identify themselves with other faith groups, never justified (98%) Muslims, (71% ) Protestant, and Catholic, (75%) Jewish. As the head of the British Metropolitan police affirmed the absurdity of Muslims violence claim ‘He’s wrong’ – responding to Donald Trump’s revelation that Muslims don’t report “suspected terrorists”.
The problem in this country is not that Muslims don’t report “suspected terrorists”, the problem is that there are millions of Americans who don’t absolutely report “suspected Islamophobes;” as a matter of fact they vote for him.
