Adunni
Adunni,
Home will beckon on us soon
That we might dust off our scandals,
So prepare your heart to journey on this voyage
For we would leave our souls behind in this strange home
Not to have it separated with metals of strife.
Adunni we would go back to our motherland once more
To watch her crowded streets submounted by noisy silence
And her abode filled up with fleshy tears from mothers
Who lost their cherished wrappers to wet grounds.
Adunni we need go back home
To join in the screams and rhythmic chords of pains
Serenating the cleavage of blinded sight.
Adunni,
Let us go home to meet mother
In adding to the seasoning of her sorrows.
