upon watching trump’s puppets
they play the lottery
of god’s —
their rain is an old
funeral choir –
their breath is hollow
but looking at the mirror
my reflection is still there
and i find a red loving apple
inside,
so i resist and write,
becoming a peaceful
hole in sky.
