Climate Change

I orbited around the planets,

Like an outsider – an alien,

Found the only planet to breathe in,

Many call it mother earth,

But those many are gnawing away at their mother,

Where they are selling dreams,

Wrapped in a toxic cocktail of lies,

Some bigger, some bitter,

There is an infinite jest with earth,

Climate change is cracking, flooding and dooming,

Planet is warming with CO2,

No matter we are a few,

Few to struggle to address the issue,

Majority will give us tissue,

To wipe away our warm tears,

Sea levels rise, ice caps melting a reality

As guardians of galaxies,

Lets conserve this innocent earth,

Because it’s the only place to breathe.
