For Anthony Bourdain

I tell Siri to remind

me at 12:00 pm.

She says, “Okay, what do you want me to remind you about?”

I say, “Write Anthony Bourdain poem.”

And she says, “Okay, I’ll remind you.”

But she writes, “Anthony Bourdain pome.”

And the spelling of poem as pome

makes me feel alone,

as if I’m in a hotel room far away

from myself. Maybe in France.
