Rome will Burn (Again)

Arson always seemed

like a terrible idea to me

But here I am

Dressed in moonshine

with matches in hand

Ready to burn down

the establishment with

Molotov fury

Mega annum of evolution

and I am brushed with

war paint in the ides

of my celestial ritual

Wings of the effigy

stare naked eyes at

miscreants

More fuel shall be

added to the Fasces

until creation itself

is drunk on fumes

A bonfire will wash

away the stench of

inverted totalitarianism

And usher in a renaissance

unrivaled in human history

Nordic Miseries

Loki secretly

cries at night

for killing Baldur

Hugin and Munin

see far too much

for Odin to handle

Freya championed

the battle, but lost

her bravery

Gungnir and Mjolnir

sit idly by while

Thor partakes in trickery

The whole damn house

is falling down
