#NotMeToo (Judge Brett Kavanaugh)
I’m as honest as humble pie
Just look at my sunny children
And my wife has a tear in her eye
I drink beer
I like beer
I still drink beer too
I like women
I work with women
I’ve never disrespected anyone…
But you
That piece of trash
I tried to rape
That just
Lied…
Tearful and cold
Remembering my imprint on her
In a cold room
Now blown up
By my lies
I am dishonest
Just look at my children turn away in shame
And my wife has tears in her eyes
I am Supreme Judge Kavanaugh ready to serve
Justice on you
David R Mellor
Born 1964, (Liverpool, England) difficult birth, didn’t find my voice until my youth. Years of thinking I was nobody and treated as such. However, hit the paper papering over the scars. Found understanding and belief through words. I have been published and performed widely from the BBC, The Tate, galleries and pubs and everything in between.
My poems are autobiographical, others topical and several my take on life. Hope you enjoy reading as much as I have enjoyed writing. Please feel free to share your thoughts on links below.
