We Will Rebuild
I would much rather stand on my own two feet
Than stand with bigots, misogynists and Cool-Aid drinking fools
Who hate their fellow man and still hope to land in Heaven
God, grant me the patience not to suffer idiots like those around today
Who think their cause is good and just
But the question is to whom and for whom?
Their ideas are fraudulent, furtive, demeaning and exclusive
Even unto their own Euro-white race not being pure enough
A shameful exhortation by their leader
Who intimates his Caucasoid skin color is superior,
Therefore his followers are too
The epitome of this leader’s fake and idiotic assumptions
But we don’t buy his lies and selfish crap, not here in my homeland
Where my ancestors have lived and thrived for millennia
Long before the yellow hairs with strange blue eyes crashed on our shores
Scholars have estimated the inhabitants to have been a million and a half strong
With a blossoming civilization replete with art, architecture and language
In the Aztec Nation and five million in the Mayan civilization equally erudite
Researchers have quantified that they were more civilized than in Europe
We traded and lived in peace with our Native tribe cousins to the north
And whose numbers totaled in the millions
Be not fooled my white European brothers we are no fools
And will fight you toe to toe, you see, we are educated now
To defend our stolen lands, lands you have desecrated for filthy lucre
Dastardly acts still embedded in our conscience
But you, pretenders of superiority, keep electing these lame-brained losers
Who have no moral compass and are stuck in the quagmire of racism and bigotry
Having lost their decency, self-respect and living in a sea of hatred
Not caring of the harm they are causing people and nature
Harming the nation, harming the future and harming families for decades to come
This plague of self-indulgent human locusts occupying our white house
Will be short lived and ousted,
Americans will work together to restore our lands and valued Constitution
With the caveat that the defense of liberty is not free;
Democracy demands standing up to bigots, despots and racists
We must be forever vigilant against insidious enemies that creep within.
The Incessant Need For More
When nighttime comes
I long for a kiss
from my partner’s sweet sucking lips
to make me forget the craziness around me.
When I wake up at nighttime
I want to eat fried chicken
to quell my upset spirit
and calm my anger.
I don’t know why conservative politicians who have so much are so unhappy.
They deny families food stamps and safe shelter for the homeless.
Right-wing politicians must not have a warm heart that beats human.
Don’t they know the malevolent laws they write
hurt the daily lives of the fast dwindling American middle class,
while their own gorged bellies and bank accounts continue to expand?
They must know this is not the way to represent Americans honestly.
They ignore those who suffer daily, unnecessarily enduring hardships.
Greed is at the politician’s core
Always wanting more.
Americans work hard to provide for their families.
Politicians are deficient in caring for America’s children.
We, the well-fed American voter, should be more compassionate.
We are not a young country anymore, we have no excuse.
Time we grew up and shared food and resources with the starving of the world.
Worldwide, can there be plenty for the wealthy, but nothing for the needy?
And it has nothing to do with who works hardest or invests,
It’s about politicians stopping their brainless immaturity,
out of control avarice, and sharing life’s subsistence equally.
Stop wasting our national treasure, the world’s resources and killing people.
Time does not stand still, it moves on with or without us.
History does not look kindly on societies who disregard their people.
Shall we continue to be led by this corrupt congress and narcissist,
Nazi loving white supremacist, misogynist, misanthrope and emperor wanna-be?
In the approaching daylight when a new tomorrow comes, let us end
this archaic monstrous way we treat people. Let’s rise together
fill our hearts with the benevolent God spirit imbued in all of us;
and know our hearts have the capacity to lift the suffering with grace.
