Houmi Ahamed-Mikidache interviews Gambian film director Ibrahim Ceesay.
In addition to directing films, Ibrahim Ceesay is also a young executive coordinator of the African Youth Initiative (an organziation on youth and climate change in Africa).
Ceesay was also one of the youth representatives during the COP 21 forum in Paris earlier this month. In addition to this he attended the last Conference on Climate Change and Development in Africa, held in Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe), organized by the African Climate Policy Centre (ACPC) of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA).
He is also founder of a new movement known as African Artists Peace Initiative.
