January Airways

(For those born in January)

I came into this globe in January Airways

alongside men of timber and women of calibre.

Grandmaster Flash occupied Seat 1 in front and

entertained us whilst scratching beats from the wheels of steel.

On Seat 3 sat Mel Gibson who

gave us some action thrills.

Meanwhile, erudite scholar Sir Isaac Newton was busy

on Seat 4 pondering the laws of gravity.

Lewis Hamilton on Seat 7 was also

busy driving his imaginary Mercedes sports car.

Seat 8 occupied by Elvis Presley played

“Jailhouse Rock” with his guitar and energized the atmosphere.

This was followed by sweet symphonies

composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart on Seat 27.

Mr. Richard Nixon on Seat 9 and Mr. Franklin D. Roosevelt

on Seat 30 both contested for President of January Airways.

Seat 10 was empty because its occupant, Hrithik Roshan

or Mr. Romantic, was spotted close to Seat 16 with Aaliyah.

Joe Frazier on Seat 12 challenged the self proclaimed

greatest pugilist Muhammad Ali on Seat 17 to a duel.

Similarly, Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola of Seat 27 and

18 respectively entertained us with some soccer skills.

Then Martin Luther King Jr stood tall from Seat 15 to an

arousing ovation before delivering his sermon on freedom.

An encore performance followed by Edgar Allan Poe on

Seat 19 who recited his poem “Annabel Lee” rhythmically.

Finally, Oprah Winfrey on Seat 29 educated us on a woman’s

worth using occupant of Seat 25, Alicia Keys as an ideal superwoman!

(Note: Seat numbers represent real birthdays of all luminaries mentioned)
