India’s prime minister addressed the sixth world government summit in Dubai on Sunday. He termed Dubai a miracle and how it transformed from a desert to a man-made wonder. Modi’s speech in the summit, where he was the chief guest was exemplary. Mr. Modi emphasized how we need to be responsible towards the environment and pointed out the six R’s- reduce, reuse, recycle, recover, remanufacture, redesign, which will ultimately lead to Rejoice.

He also emphasized the cautious use of technology and how it should be used for the betterment of the human race, to eradicate malnutrition and not for creating bombs and weapons of mass destruction. “Technology has empowered government via minimum government, maximum governance,” said PM Modi and listed the changes made by his government back in India like Aadhaar and GST with the help of technology.

The prime minister said that he is thankful on behalf of the 125 crore Indians to Abu Dhabi’s crowned prince, Mohammed Bin Zayed, who has promised to build the first Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi. Noticibly, India has also signed several MOUs with the UAE government which include technology and financial services.
