Occupied Territory

American troops

Will be deployed

To occupy regions

Where people oppose

The president’s policies

And history traditionally

Supports that kind of action

As the United States

Loves to mobilize

The military

And, once again,

The Heartland is all for it

But this time,

The occupation will take pace

In the left-leaning

And blue voting

Hometowns

Of Spanish-speaking Americans

Living along

The southern border.
