I’m Free

Like thunder tearing the clouds

Unchained are the chains of

my body

my mind

my soul

I have

no cruel master

no arrogant ruler

I own

my life completely –

all the joys,

all the pains

I am

the sole leader

My mobility

bears no restrictions

I can leap

in the air,

touch the blue sky

I can swim

in the island’s beauty

Gone is slavery

Gone is tyranny

Gone is fear

Gone are tears

I feel

I’ll survive

in the history

of human rights

O Freedom!

My dear Freedom!

I’m free.
