Ever Green, Ever Sun, Ever Moon
I blazed for you
Like the hot Sun
Every moment
I burnt for you
Smouldering
I went up in smoke
Simmering
Across the expanse
Consumed by You
I burnt bright
In your celebration
In your fantasy
And there
No one but
You
Can exist
And so love burns
Blazing
Bright
Hot
Till it mellows
Like the whiskey amber
Or chars out
Into nothingness
All the while
A celebration
Till it ends
And I
Then glide
Into the soothing darkness
Of the silken night
Already charred
And black
I wear the cover
Of your quiet…
The sliver
Of moonshine
My only sanity
