Difficult Restorations

His pants are down to his knees now

his face is red with embarrassment

trying to cover his misdeeds but his butt is exposed

and here comes Mueller charging with a two by four

Joy to the world, joy to the world

but there’s not much joy in America

the damage to the country was extensive

Americans will pick up the tab

and, as usual, restorations will be costly

This pretender-in-chief giving huge tax cuts to the rich and himself

is responsible for the nation’s deficits as far as the eye can see

at a time when conservatives should have spoken they lost their tongues and acquiesced

his immigration reform never took hold;

deep down people hate walls

After listening to his relentless lies

the beginning of extracting offenders is a very long journey

deceived citizens have a hard time believing the truth

the unjust world he tried to build is crumbling

and surely to fall on all of us

Whether he goes to jail or not

America is a great country

not because it’s partial to rich people getting away from punishment

who steal from the working man

but the corrupt will always be found and gouged out

But maybe this is the time Democracy makes a big leap forward

when scoundrels get their just rewards and politicians focus on people

not filling their own coffers or the corporations that front them

in democracies obstacles abound, but the most dangerous are the crooks on the inside

We must get back to a modest life to insure our survival as a species

entrusted to us by posterity and evolved intelligence

but the road is long and arduous and we must be forever vigilant

if we want to preserve this democratic Republic for future generations

Truth About Winners And Losers

Integrity lives

As long as people know the antonym

Honor will never die

As long as people know the sacrifice

Patriotism is a two edged sword

One edge cuts on the side of righteousness

The other on the side of wickedness

Wickedness suppresses facts

Facts are important

They support the truth

Truth survives

When people practice it

Otherwise, truth fails

And the wicked win.
