A ‘hard nut’ to crack

Saudi rulers were your ‘yes-men’!

Your safe place for many a gun!

A fertile ground to dump ammunition

For killing innocents in neighboring Yemen!

Your guinea pig to nourish

Al Qaeda and terrorists to flourish

Your oil supplying backyard

But now…a human rights graveyard.

Faced with severe criticism

For backing those trampling protectors of journalism

You find yourself inextricably

Between the devil and deep blue sea.

Whether to support the royal monarch

Or accept people’s demands and leave him in the dark

You’re confused and your voice croaks

Compelled to respond to media attacks

For he has become a stumbling block

A very ‘hard nut’ to crack….

The martyrs

The number rises…

Killing of Palestinians never stops…

The young helpless homeless

The brave martyrs

Succumb to zionist soldiers’ bullets

The powerful Israeli zealots

But their struggle continues

Despite loss of lives

Every drop of blood

Yearning for the motherland

Will go down fighting

And hopefully looking

For final victory

And end of tyranny
