Collective Vision

As sojourners we spot

a rich progressive forest

and seeking Light, peace & justice

we eclipse gentle loving mountains.

Democratic socialism is the sum

of soothing lilac.

With expanding idealism

poetic images come to life

And as political discourse

defends hegemony

and disorganizes leaves

We gaze upward –

Tracing the soothing paths

Of mystical stars.
