Run away…from danger
(Trump’s energy advisor runs away when questioned by Democracy Now! at UN climate summit)
Questions are truths
Truths hurt
To escape from truth
Run away! Run away from people!
Promote interests of capitalists!
Promote use of fossil fuels!
To escape outcry from activists
Run away from the scene!
To protect from protesters
And millions of sufferers
Affected by increasing pollution
Run away to cozy citadel of power!
Even if you run away from responding
To the rising voices of public,
Climate change will haunt you
And remind you that you are complicit
In the crimes which destroy the Earth
And the life on it!
Tired eyes
(Eyes may help measure stress, mental workload – report)
From dawn to dusk
Working in farms or performing multi- task
The labor reflects in sweat
And toil and energy spent
The tired weak body
Endures stress
The dilated pupil of eyes
Embodies life’s tragedy
Workload is measurable
The energy can be recoverable
But the surplus value is invaluable
For the capitalist system to be sustainable…
