This Child Can Blow Up The Kingdom
The child that plays at being president
But whose playtime occupies sixty percent of his official time
Ignoring working the nation’s business but only caring for his own
Is a child who does not know the meaning of being responsible
We search for our better angels far and wide
There are not many in this administration, too few
Who would stand up to contradict this despot of a leader
But everybody far and wide knows this charlatan’s folly
We must recognize the abomination the presidential vote created
By putting the country, nee the world in jeopardy
Make no mistake, we are living through a time
That will come to be known as the White plague
In which the Caucasian hierarchy tried to reverse
Our country to the white domination of the past
But up jumped the devil
The American people rose up
To prevent the total takeover of this nation
The cabinet after many defections and changes
Did the bidding of this sham supreme leader
The new sycophants in the Senate did the same
They changed the way the presidency had functioned for centuries
Just to give comfort to the gluttonous pig in the White House
That grunts and snorts every time he is shown the truth
And they all cower and shrink at his anger
He doesn’t want to hear facts that contradict his ideas
His harebrained shortsighted and uninformed thoughts
Are those of a five year old child throwing a temper tantrum
But this child can bring this country down
It happens with autocratic dictators
Whose greed translates into gouging the people
So there must be adults in the room
To curb this child’s temper before he blows up the kingdom
Can it happen here in America most assuredly yes
And the consequences will be devastating
This is the time for all good patriots to heed the tragedy unfolding
And come to the aid of their country
Silence Of Forever
The silence of forever in eternity
Speaks loudly to me
And should to all who draw breath
Time is too short for lies
Too short for entreaties
Too short for life
Playtime is over
Lies spoken pounce on our minds like famished tigers;
his untruths blow us away like puffs of dandelion fluff
His lies will eventually die devoured by critical thought
The indomitable American Spirit will survive
this onslaught of falsehoods
Lies will not destroy this great country
nor will the clamor of unbridled and misguided emotional zeal
We are too strong to fall for fake signs of golden glitter
My pained heart asks me,
“Where do you think we’re headed?”
“To hell if we don’t change our ways!” annoyed, I yell.
Heaven or hell, hell or heaven?
Does it matter?
The all too invisible wealthy are in control
and the benevolent Gods are nowhere to be seen
God is everywhere, but not in the hearts of the rich
soon, if we’re not careful and vigilant,
we may be consumed by the arrogant,
self-interest, bigoted bad governance.
