Joel Savage

Joel Savage is a freelance journalist, author and writer, who enjoys the challenges of creativity and adventure. His work is considered to be pure genre of creative nonfiction of human touch, with appeal to a broad general audience.

Joel was born at Cape Coast, in the Central Region of Ghana, on January I9, 1957. The son of a veteran journalist and documentary film producer, Joel follows his father's footsteps. He studied at Ebenezer Secondary School and Accra High School.

He did journalism at Ghana Institute of Journalism in Accra. Joel naturalized as Sierra Leonean in 1985 and of Belgian in 2008. The writer lives in Antwerp, Belgium, and writes for both local and international online newspapers. He has since published eight books and working on other new projects.

A strong animal lover, Joel campaigns against animal cruelty, child abuse and crime. He loves sports, especially cycling and loves working domestically, doing cleaning and cooking for his family – his wife and three boys.
