Collection Plate Politics

(Uniting Church and State)

Think of the jobs…

Congress needs to promote

The economic benefits,

And work out

A 110-Billion-Dollar arms deal

With churches

All over America,

So worshippers

Can protect themselves

From radical extremists

Who listen

And subsequently respond to

Red-rally rhetoric

And use it to attack

The Constitutional rights

Of the people

A representative government

Has otherwise forgotten

While those elected officials

Enable and are enabled by

Special interests

And investors

Who would rather see

Capitalism profit their greed

Instead of seeing

Democracy practiced.
