Once Again

Once again monsoon is knocking,

Sunset is happening,

Birds are chirping,

Flowers are blossoming;

Once again moths are fascinated to be

Burnt into the flames;

Peacocks are dancing with

Spreading colorful feathers like a fan;

Once again deer are becoming obsessed

In the smell of their own musk;

Rivers become erratic and restless,

On the call of the sea;

Once again life is becoming beautiful

With a reason to live,

With your memories in the night

And dreams during the day.

Hidden Beauties

Mysteries of the darkness

Survive not, on arrival of light,

However, clear day dawns amazingly,

From the womb of dark night;

Melodious are the tones,

Reaching hearts directly,

But, amazing is the silence

In between the tones, that

Starts knocking the soul;

The journey of moon reaches,

To its peak at full moon night;

But, the actual attraction lies

During its waxing and waning;

Sunrise is spectacular and

Wonderful is the Sunset,

But, striking is the way,

Sunlight reaches as moonlight;

Passionate river at source becomes,

Contended upon merging into sea;

But, glorious is its life in between,

For it to be able to revive lives;
