War Is Money

So what if it makes money?

It spills

Far too much blood

In the name of the almighty oil and greed

It’s a damn shame

We let it rule

Put our brains on freeze

Just so we can say

We were bigger and tougher than the other guy

Too many still and lifeless bodies

Too many parts blown off

All over a useless battlefield

What monsters do we become?

What chances do we waste?

Just to undermine these nameless others

These faceless drones

We send our own to battle

Just because we can

How native

How foolish

How much more before we understand?

War is never the answer
