Taint of Pity, Rev 2

dark dreams of tomorrow live within today.

cascading in colorless opaque luminescence

tree of deformity upon wispy flowing grasses

whilst vultures on the wing disappear in a haze

lucent clouded skies of blended silent obscurity

pious scripture camouflaged by a taint of pity

ravenous demons tempt the innocent with lies

as crosses burn brightly in the darkest mind.

the decrepit fantasies reign within hypocrisy

as a flavored sky burns with a grayish pallor.

from my open window I see a world in chaos

I see masses of people unwilling to even live

gentle creatures disappear from brown forests

animals walk on two legs stealing halcyon souls

germs spreading hate, in-cognizant of any love

lazy beg for work as garbage crops are cultivated

lonesome appear lost from open front windows

whilst the long since dead stand screaming.

A Zealot’s Rebellion

A scroll unrolled into

piercing hollow eyes;

woeful disturbed mind,

creature of the myths.

Tarnished broken halo

an icy shadowed veil

grasp a crimson heart

Raven’s laugh above.

A Book of Mirrors rife

shatters into the sky of

colored faceted jewels

cross dagger of piety.

Parchment laconic afire

while Lime Rickey’s wait

in a high shrilled voice

enchanted Faeries sing.

Hiding a lavender heart

feted pride lays waste.

Casting sword in a pyre,

zealot’s rebellion reigns.

A New Hell

I’m a lover without love;

dishonest to the honest

beautiful without beauty.

I am lost, but not alone

a victim of guilty minds.

erased by a pious faith

darkness grasping light

black knight of dreams.

I am your final icy grasp

the death rattle of vows

bubbles adrift in swells

a first step into eternity

Dark day in a New Hell.
