Pendulum
Another morning and I feel
alive and happy
my mind is a pendulum of
emotions
touching fire, ice, and rain in
different spheres of senses
in a desire to bloom each
day into layers of cosmic
rainbows
I inflict sharp pains of love
in my being
a happy living’s essence
circles around me this
morning too
while shades of laughter
and tears lift the curtains to
begin my play on the stage
Time
The present is laughing
at my fragile heart
time mocks and calls me
weak
a lost one had a purpose
served in my life and gone
but I hold on to the absence
I know, I know the meaning of
letting go and growing ice cold
yet I let time make fun of me
since I have loved selflessly
Frost
I am the frost that you wish to
leave behind for a sun filled
meadow
when was the last time you
walked beside me
where is the road now that we
took together in our prime
I have a bitter side that you wish
to explore but not experience
a heart that beats to reach out
and hold you deeper
but fades with each smile that
my lips spread to hide those lost
dreams
