Courageous Exposure

Professor Details Sexual Assault Allegations Against Virginia Lt. Gov

Coming out with anger and rage

Showing exceptional courage

Elaborated the humiliating sexual assault

The brave college professor

Male chauvinism filled ‘Democrats’

High handed political autocrats

Tried to cover up the incident in vain

And protect their ‘political gain’

She is a shining example

Who exposed injustice with ample

Evidence that made leaders lame

And resign with regret and shame

The Immigrant Maid

For Victorina Morales  – An Undocumented Immigrant Who Spent Five Years As Trump’s Housekeeper

Trying to build a wall

You will definitely fall

Because you depend upon aide –

An ordinary worker or servant maid

When you despise migrants

And abuse them by continuous rants

Think of their service and humility

Your economy’s in their humanity

Many of them may be undocumented

Working with their self respect dented

But they are the crucial lifeline

For your nation to shine

Who is responsible for this ‘blot’

For, on record, the sun has been hot

Forcing scientists to express genuine fears

And filling peoples’ eyes with ‘warm’ tears?

Trees are replaced with factories

No room for greenery or bird sanctuaries

No control of carbon emissions

Everything in control of corporate commissions and omissions

While the rich live in air conditioners

Poor are disastrous climate ‘prisoners’

Till the system changes from its present rot

Temperatures will rise and sun continues to be hot and hot
