United States president Donald Trump credited China’s president Xi Jinping for his help to the United States, ‘particularly’ in the North Korean border dispute. “Please do not forget the great help that my good friend has given to the United States, particularly at the border of North Korea.” Trump tweeted on Friday.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un met South Korean president Moon Jae-in on Friday and the two countries have agreed to total denuclearisation in the Korean Peninsula. The meeting is being considered a historical step aimed at ending the six decades old Korean war. Stating the meeting to be historic, Trump took to twitter to recognize the Chinese president’s efforts in the whole process.

“Without him it would have been a much longer, tougher, process!” Trump added. Noticeably, a meeting is also proposed between Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un later this year.
