Long-Term Strategy

“Nothing is more precious than independence and liberty”

“Time is on my side”

                                                                        The Rolling Stones

By the American President’s personal assessment,

Kim Jong-un is very talented,

And if North Korea gets rid

Of their nuclear weapons,

America will stop

Military training exercises

But if there is no training

The troops won’t go to the field,

And the American military

Will become ineffective

And self-destructive

As service members

Will have more time

To harass South Korean women

And Moon Jae-in

Will demand the occupying forces

Be withdrawn from his country

For behavior unbecoming.

Then Kim’s strategic vision

Will have met an objective,

So traditional mobilized efforts –

Backed by a new generation

Of Communist Chinese Forces –

Can invade across the peace

Of an unguarded DMZ

While Americans who had hoped

For beachfront condominiums

Won’t have the stomach

Or the budget

To fight back.

It is the difference between

Thinking in terms

Of a 50-year regime

And self-promoting negotiations

In a two-year block.
