The Wall

How can I say more elegantly,

more poetically,

that “Both sides are full of it”

instead of just themselves?

And what are they so full of?

Portraying walls,

overhyping them,

as if they’re a cure for everything,

maybe even cancer.

Portraying walls

as if they’re good for nothing,

nothing at all, nada,

maybe even immoral.

So how can I say more elegantly,

that their intransigence

and concern for base electoral politics

is the most important obstacle of all ?…

“Both sides are full of…”

Shit! Sorry, I can’t state it better!
